Statement from the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture

At the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, the well-being of our supporters is of utmost importance to us. After careful consideration and following Governor Inslee’s mandates and protocols regarding the COVID-19 virus, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Pompeii 2020 MAC Gala on April 18th. As we progress through this unprecedented time, we are grateful for your support and understanding. THANK YOU for your continued support of YOUR MAC.

We would like to offer our immense thanks and gratitude to our friends at The Davenport Hotel. Chef Librande and his team had developed a wonderfully creative Roman inspired meal we were looking forward to sharing with you. 

Is the event rescheduled?

This annual event's proceeds are vital to our operations, but without knowing what will happen in the next few months, we are not confidently able to reschedule the gala within our fiscal year, which ends June 30.

We need your help!

The MAC Gala is our largest fundraiser of the year and we depend on the proceeds from ticket purchases and donations to help bring exhibitions such as Pompeii: The Immortal City and Norman Rockwell’s America, support student field trips to the museum, Thursday Night Live, and other creative community programming.

Please consider the following options: 

• Donate your ticket purchase to the MAC as a 100% tax deductible donation.
• Purchase a “Virtual ticket” or “Virtual Table” as a 100% tax deductible donation HERE 
• Raise your Paddle online! If you planned to make a gift at the Gala, we encourage you to do so online HERE

We hope that you will help keep the MAC strong by supporting our Gala. If you instead require a refund, please contact Madison Bush at madison.bush@northwestmuseum.org. or call 509-363-5321, but please note Madison will be working remotely, and checking voicemails intermittently. We will convert your ticket purchase(s) to a 100% tax deductible donation by April 1, 2020 unless we hear otherwise from you.
